Symbolic 1950s villa in Braine-l’Alleud
Installation of OPAL-Systems in this splendid residence belonging to Daniel Lipszyc, famous Polish architect, in Braine-l’Alleud.
This house of approximately 600 m2 (6460 sq ft) was built at the end of the 1950s. For the renovation, the owners opted for our underfloor heating system throughout, over 400m2.
A reactive heating system was essential to prevent overheating when the sun travels across the huge bay window at the rear of the property. The owners also wanted to retain the floor height to be able to keep the original doors.
With its low profile, simplicity of installation and lightweight form, OPAL-Systems is absolutely the ideal solution for incorporating into existing architecture while respecting the past, present and future.
Final surface: marble laid throughout the ground floor and solid walnut floors on the upper floor.
